Concept

mont HARVEST LONG TABLE is a harvest festival held in Nozawa Onsen each October, created to give shape to "a reason to head into autumn."
Foraging mushrooms, picking the field's bounty, and sharing a table around the fire for one night.
Not simply a special experience, but two days like a small ritual — a careful way of welcoming the season.

  1. DAY1

  2. 10:45-

    HARVEST LONG TABLE begins.

    Opening the itinerary for this journey.
    As we begin this autumn harvest festival,
    we take a moment to align our hearts and acknowledge daily gratitude together.

    The time to begin.

  3. 11:15-

    Harvesting autumn's flavors. "Mushroom Foraging"

    Into the forest to harvest Nozawa Onsen's wild mushrooms,
    guided by "Akihiko-san," the guardian of the forest.
    Gather with your own hands the ingredients for tonight's feast.

  4. 16:00-

    mont HARVEST LONG TABLE

    Nurtured by Nozawa Onsen's mountains, autumn's blessings—mushrooms, vegetables, new rice, and ingredients passed down on this land—are transformed into a single dish for the day.
    As dusk falls, fire is lit in the forest and a long table is gathered around.
    Savor the scent of woodfire, the sounds of cooking, and the forest air itself, sharing a meal slowly together.

  5. 19:30-

    An evening in autumn Nozawa Onsen.

    Carrying the afterglow of the Long Table into the autumn night of Nozawa Onsen.
    After the meal, stroll through the hot spring town to the steaming outdoor bathhouses.
    Feel the cool autumn night air and the warmth of the springs as you slowly bring the day to a close.

  6. DAY2

  7. 10:20-

    To the "Beech Forest," nature's origin.

    The hints to Nozawa Onsen's nature and food culture
    lie in the beech forest that watches over the village.
    An experience to walk to that origin point on your own feet.

  8. 13:30-

    The harvest festival closes, and the next chapter begins.

    As the autumn harvest festival closes, each guest returns home.
    What is learned and experienced here connects to the next chapter's experience.

    And here, too, are the encounters and farewells that bring us together again.

Location

Walk through the forest, touch what the land has grown, and gather with everyone at a single table.
The stage for this is nozawa green field, surrounded by the nature of Nozawa Onsen.
A treehouse that suddenly appears at the end of a forest path becomes the setting for a once-only table.
